Up to DATE
Wednesday, December 28, 2011 12:00 AMHehehe finally I will be writing something that happened recently! Haha my blog posts had always been so outdated.
Have been ill from Christmas day till today. Hopefully I am not infected by Stanley's mycoplasma pneumonia. :( Going to the doctor tomorrow just to confirm.
Yup Merry Christmas Everybody! I hope you guys received lots of presents!! Hahaha
I spent my afternoon attending church service and had a Christmas dinner with my cell group members.
I finally have a chance to wear my RED dress from BKK. :D:D

Hmm, I am really grateful to have this relationship with you.
When I was quite upset with my friends for the last minute notice, you reminded me to forgive!
I wasn't angry but just moodless because I could have spend my time more with Stanley who was sick rather than shopping for my friends' christmas gifts.
But I didn't regret my decision! I will do back the same if history repeats :D
I guess there will be always disappointment in life but we just need to know how to handle it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my last week of holidays! Sigh! Haha
There are tons of work to be done and is never ending! :(
The last week of the year means new resolutions. Before that, going to reflect on my resolutions this year
Physical
1) Apply sunscreen protector whenever I'm going outdoor. (I DID!)
2) Go for facial at least once every 4 months? (Thrice this year but unevenly spread out)
3) 2 hours of exercise per week. Basically maintain current weight. Hahaha (NOPE I GAINED WEIGHT, but losing weight now due to my sickness.)
4) Do hair mask once every 2 weeks. (Almost everyday but my hair is still frizzy)
5) Eat antioxidant pills daily (NOPE, heard a lot of side effects?)
Diet
1) Drink at least 8 cups of plain water daily. (NOPE, still improving)
2) Eat fruits at least thrice a week. (NOPE!)
3) Eat lesser fried food and fast food. Hahaha (Lesser fast food only)
4) Dine home more often. (Yes I guess?)
Financial
1) Save $500 untouched in the bank. (NOPE)
2) Save $800 for bangkok trip (NOPE, Mum paid for my air ticket)
3) Save $400 for Stanley Birthday. (I DID and it's even more!)
Personal Achievement
1) Complete NYAA Gold (NOPE)
2) Participate in Y-camp (NOPE)
Education
1) Read Kanski once every week and learn about a new eye diseases. (LOL! NO)
Hahaha and the list goes on. Well looking at my achievement, I am so ashamed of myself!
OH good nite people! I Need to rest early!
Friends @ Jelita
Tuesday, November 29, 2011 10:29 PMYou guys know where is Jelita?
It is located at a remote place in Holland Village where all the rich people lives!
So I was treated to a course dinner at Friends. (Stanley's Aunt bought the food coupon from deal.com.sg)
This is the most similar coupon I found online of what I had eaten.

Happily waiting for our food

Both of us ordered Angel's Hair with Prawn Roe for starter.

Very unique! and very tasty too!

Stanley's Mushroom soup - okay okay only

My green clutch from BKK :D I love!

Back to my main course.

The portion is really pathetic!!
The dinner went on smoothly until we received our desserts!
BROWNIE! There is nothing wrong with the brownies but they changed it last minute without informing us that the initial dessert that we wanted were out of stock!
Totally disappointed. I guess they should have the courtersy to informe us earlier and not just served and place it on our table. :(

Sigh! why such unhappy ending? Won't be going back there specially for a meal.

With that 3 more weeks till holidays!
Christmas is coming!!! :D
Ju Shin Jung - Korean BBQ Buffet
Sunday, November 06, 2011 11:58 PMCaught a movie 'In Time' with Stanley. It definitely worth the watch! :D

In short, "genetic alteration has allow individuals to stop aging at 25 years after birth. Time has replaced money as the standard currency. People must acquire more time through labor and commercial means after turning 25 years of age, or die within a year. Each social class lives in a different area called a 'Time Zone'. The poor live in the ghettos of Dayton and work each day to earn a few more hours of life, which they must also use to pay for everyday necessities. The rich live in the luxurious New Greenwich, and can live for centuries to millenia based on how much time they have accrued." Source from Wiki
After the movie, we decided to have Korean BBQ for dinner!
Felt so much in love after eating Korean BBQ in Australia.
Stanley drove to Tanjong Pagar Road- 2D1N Soju Bang. We didn't get to eat our dinner there because of the crowd. We are certainly going back because it only costs $22.00 ++ per pax for a Korean BBQ buffet. Their reviews from Hungrygowhere.com scored an average of >80% recommendation.
So we went to Ju Shin Jung (27 West Coast Highway #01-18/19, Yess Centre 1F, Singapore 117867, Singapore)
Something bad about that place was the parking lots. Valet parking is COMPULSORY! So in total you have to pay for the car park charges + Valet fee (any amount you want to give)
*** Ju Shin Jung DOES NOT SERVE KOREAN BBQ BUFFET on FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY DINNER.
We seemed to get scam! Haha but nevertheless, we just sat down because we were too hungry to change venue.
The food is quite pricey. $45.00 for a plate of beef, $22.00 for a plate of chicken or pork & $10.00 for assorted mushrooms.
They served A LOT OF SIDES!!!

Hahaha Stanley was thinking which to eat first!

GUESS WHAT IS THIS! I was quite amazed by what actually it is!

And do you know what is this?
.
.
.
Apparently Stanley and I have no idea what was this. It is written in Korean words and is yellow in colour.
so the first thing that came into my mind was OIL!!!
because you need oil to cook right? Hahahaha so I asked Stanley to pour it into the BBQ pot and we got a lot of stares from the people beside us.
We gave up in the end and turned to the waiter for help! He then told us that that was a beverage! Wah!!!!!!!!!!
Feel like digging a hole to hide my face! Hahahahaha

You no need oil to BBQ the meat!

Really sweet watermelon! In heart shape some more!
Overall the dinner wasn't a disppointment! It was nice but I felt that it was quite expensive. They served buffet from Monday to Thursday~ May be going back. We shall see!
We smelled like BBQ PORK after dinner!
Drink lots of water! Had a sore throat the next morning!
Ciaos! Happy Holiday!
